Hi Xavier,
I've been a very satisfied user of DMB for about 5 years now and I'm pretty sure it is capable of doing very nice things! I would like to know how would I create the same kind of menu from www.wondertouch.com, I just like how the groups are organized! |

How about the Top Left Corner Main Menu of http://www.xemico.net/
Items as follows>> Design Applications Programming Marketing Promotion Hosting Maintenance and transparent, round corner, drop shadowed, text box (ToolTips) but not selectable. Clean, pretty design. My partner LOVES this one. When you get time, I'm just curious, that's all. |

Hello Brentwz,
As for the menu structure and style this menu is quite simple -- what makes it stand out is the 3D box-like animation on the menu items which is impossible to recreate using DHTML/javascript. You could, however, create those animations in Flash and add them as the background image of each menu item and the resulting menu would look identical (yes, DHTML Menu Builder supports Flash animations to be used as background images). I, unfortunately, don't know Flash so I cannot do that for you. If you are able to design those animations using Flash, post them here and I'll implement them into a menu. I'll also implement the tooltips for you. -------------------- Xavier Flix

I don't know Flash either, mate!
In fact I'm not even sure how to reply correctly to your post. When I click the Reply button, it gives me a window to type in, but also adds your comment in the window. Do I keep that or delete that? Hmmm. I'll delete it in case it's just a copy to remind me what I'm replying to. Anyway, at least I now understand that your menus can work with Flash, & that this is a flashy example of one (pun intended). One more item, Xavier. Is this where I post, to get assistance with a menu design we want to do for a client's website, using DHTML Menu Builder? Or is there another category I should use? |

By default, when you reply to a topic the forum system will "quote" the thread to which you are replying.
You can easily prevent this by clicking the "Quote" button before clicking the "Reply" button. Also (and this is my preferred method) you can simply click on the "Fast Reply" button. I don't usually attend supports requests on the forum as I prefer other users to exchange solutions and ideas with each others without me interfering. So, if you ever want to contact me directly please use the email-based support form available here: http://software.xfx.net/ss.php?redir=dmb_e2.php You can also access that form from within DHTML Menu Builder by clicking Help->xFX JumpStart On the Web->Support -------------------- Xavier Flix
