I am attempting to create my first dhtml menu with this program and I'm running into a few problems.

The
rollover menu is here.

I used ImageReady to create the base page and the main rollover effects and then the menu builder to create the flyout menus.

There are 8 menu sections.

1. no dhtml flyout, ImageReady rollover works
2. dhtml flyout, ImageReady rollover works
3. dhtml flyout, ImageReady rollover doesn't work
4. dhtml flyout, ImageReady rollover doesn't work
5. dhtml flyout, ImageReady rollover doesn't work
6. dhtml flyout, ImageReady rollover doesn't work
7. no dhtml flyout, ImageReady rollover works
8. no dhtml flyout, ImageReady rollover works

I'm not sure what I did wrong that part of the rollovers will work but some do.

Could anyone help me with this?

I just tried your menus and they appear to be working perfectly... were you able to resolve the problem?

Yes, I basically started over.

I had done different changes and the rollover was looking for a different image filename.  At some point the script added an extension to the original image name in the code.

I had to go back and change something in the layout and now I'm having problems again with this menu.

I have the menu working the way I want it on the in my initial html file, here

But when I save it as a dynamic web template in Dreamweaver to base the rest of my files off of, suddenly the rollovers don't work. Example here.

Is there some setting I'm missing?  I did have this working at one point

Carla,

You're right... I'm also having problems with your menus and I'm not sure what's causing it.
Could you please post your .dmb project here?

I've attached the menu file.

I think I have it working now.

The rollovers in the files on the base directory were working because the location of the images was images/file.gif in the rollover code, but it wasn't working for the files in the subdirectory.

So I made two templates, one for files in the base directory and one for those in subdirectories, and changes the image location to ../images/file.gif.

I am assuming that I shouldn't have to do this.  I normally work on my sites from a zip disk, but my zip drive just went out so I had to move the site to my hard drive.  Maybe it had something to do with that.

I had to rework the layout and menu so many times, and then lost some of the saved changes, that I've lost track of where I'm at.

Carla,

I'm still having som minor problems with the menus at http://www.legacymarketingservices.com/Sherloc....ff.html
Please download and install version 4.9.004 and then recompile your project (Tools->Compile)

Post back when you have updated your menus so I can try them again...
