Effects -> Selection Buttons Display Sample in a separate window

DHTML Menu Builder supports many selection effects used to display a border around the menu items.
To set these effects you use the Menu->Special Effects->Commands Effect dialog.

As you can see on the image, thanks to the Live Sample component you can see in real-time how the effects will affect your menu items.

DHTML Menu Builder supports a wide arrange of effects for your menu items on both the normal and over states:

  • (none): No effect will be applied to the border.
  • Raised: The selected border color will be slightly modified to create the illusion of a raised border.
  • Sunken: The selected border color will be slightly modified to create the illusion of a sunken border.
  • Double: Half the border will be painted with the selected color and the other half with a softer variation of the color.
  • Bevel: This is a combination of the Raised and Sunken effects creating a very nice border around the menu items.

Note that these effects will not be visible when the menus are viewed with Navigator 4.
