Among several bug fixes version 1.1.9 introduces a new initialization mechanism that will make its use much more enjoyable by new users or first time installs.

A minor upgrade for KeyLaunch is now available for download.

• Fixed bug that could cause KeyLaunch to miss the keystrokes being typed because some other application had captured the focus.
• Added support to search on the ID3 Tag of MP3 files.

KeyLaunch 1.1 final beta was launched last week and it includes some very nice features, such as:

• Semi-skinnable interface
• Added support to choose alternate shortcut keys.
• Added support to search on the list of previously executed commands from the START->Run.
• Added support to search on the list of previously executed commands from the Taskbar's Address toolbar.

• Added support to perform some common file actions such as rename, copy and move.
• The way the containing folder is opened has changed: instead of pressing CTRL+ScrollLock, now you must select the item, press ALT and then select the option "Open Containing Folder". See the Using KeyLaunch section on the documentation for more information.
• When KeyLaunch's window is hidden without launching any document, the focus is returned to the last active application.
• Fixed bug that could cause KeyLaunch to loose its preferences when Windows was shutdown.
• Fixed bug that caused KeyLaunch not to properly identify the extension of a file dropped over the File Types list if the file was contained on a folder with a long name.
• Fixed bug that could cause KeyLaunch not to properly launch some file types under Windows Me.
• Fixed bug that caused the KeyLaunch window to appear incorrectly after changing the display resolution.
• Fixed some appearance problems when using the non classic Windows XP skin.
• The Uninstaller has been enhanced so when KeyLaunch is uninstalled, all the registry entries are properly removed and you have the option to remove all configuration files created after KeyLaunch was installed.
