Here's a list of what's new in this release:
- Fixed bug that caused the context menu from the tray icons to remain open unless an option was chosen.
- Added support to display a single icon representing the activity on all the selected partitions. See the new Merge Icons option on the documentation for more information.
- Fixed bug that could cause the options displayed in the tray icons' context menu to end desynchronized from the options in the Options dialog.
- The documentation has been revised to reflect the latest changes in the program and has also been redesigned to make it easier to use.
This new version introduces a new led display mode and corrects several minor bugs. Here's the complete list of what has changed:
- Fixed bug that could cause the sticky option to place the leds at the wrong position covering the min/max/close buttons of a window's title bar.
- Fixed bug that caused the sample font display to appear with the wrong colors under some skins.
- Added option to specify a new style to render the leds: the drive letter will be placed at the left and the leds, staked up, on the right.
- The scrolling label feature will now scroll the labels of the disks at the same speed regardless of the Refresh Speed setting.
SoftLed's popularity is increasing everyday and we're committed to keep improving it to make sure it fits everyone's needs. Here's what's new on this version:
- Fixed bug that caused the "Restore Defaults" option not to work properly.
- Fixed bug that caused the context menu to reflect the incorrect state of the OSD settings when these are changed from the Options tab.
- SoftLeds will now automatically disable the ScrollLock Led feature if a screensaver is running. This will prevent the screensaver from quitting unexpectedly.
- The controls to customize the colors of the leds is now much easier to understand.
- You can now see, in real-time, the color changes as you change the colors of the leds or drive letters; this allows you to see the results of your color selection even before clicking OK.
- The documentation has been revised to make sure it is up-to-date with the new features and recent changes.
This is a small but very important update for SoftLeds:
- Fixed bug that caused the program to crash when a system with multiple CDs ejected a CD while the program was refreshing the OSD
- Updated the program and the shared libraries it uses in order to avoid conflicts with other products of our own
